Go Forth

Go forth, says the Lord to His people
Go forth with grace and faith and love,
Let your light shine for all the world to see,
Go forth and spread the good news
The Lord was looking for disciples
Didn't call on the Pharisees
Called Simon Peter and Matthew.
Some sinners just like you and me.

One day He called the twelve together
Sent them out sharing the good news,
To speak the joy of God's kingdom,
And walk in faith along the way.

Sent them out unto all the world
To teach the Word and to baptize
